Easily the best shepherds hut we have ever stayed in. Genius layout and included appliances and storage was astounding. I'd have happily lived there, the surroundings are quiet and absolutely beautiful and within a stones throw of any activity and amenity.

Truly fabulous. The best accommodation we have every stayed in because of the unbelievable location/views, and the comfort of the lodges. I stayed 2 weeks and wish I could have stayed more. The location, only a few miles from Keswick but easy access to all the Lake District has to offer , but the views of fields inhabited by sheep, horses, birds in absolute peace (We could hear our hearts beating it was so peaceful all the time, day or night) makes it such a beautiful place.

It’s peaceful and quiet with stunning views of the hills and sheep, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a days hiking/walking! The lodge is Modern and spacious with everything you need, it’s very dog friendly, our dogs love it here! Although you’re surrounded by fields the lodge area is enclosed. Lots of places to visit within a short drive but also the Binsey and nice walks out the gate! We love that it’s away from the hustle and bustle but with in easy reach of places for meals out and beautiful lake walks.

Modern and particularly very well equipped lodge with lovely views of fields and farmland. The lodge was one of 3 on a very quiet farm with horses, chickens and a couple of pigs in the field next door. It was furnished to a high specification with a Belfast sink and Range cooker, two lovely bathrooms and bedrooms with absolutely loads of storage room. The main living space was well laid out with plenty of room. A lovely decking and seating area overlooking a meadow with wildflower planting completed the picture. Jemima was very quick at communicating and booking process very easy indeed.

Absolutely fantastic stay - host gave fantastic recommendations for the local area and the views are just something else with the running water it’s just so peaceful. The lodge has everything you could possibly need and the fizz was a lovely added touch

Absolutely beautiful stay in idyllic surroundings. Ideal for exploring the Northern fells. Peace and tranquility with only the sound of the stream, the sheep and the birds singing. Beautiful and serene stay.

Great location, only 20 minutes from Keswick and right on the doorstep of one of the Wainwright's, Binsey. Overlooked peaceful fields where horses and sheep grazed. Perfect and will be back again.
