At Snittlegarth, we have two spacious, modern, comfortable cabins available for weeknight and weekend stays on our working farm. They’re both located in their own secluded, quiet area of our ample site, so you’ll have your own private retreat to call home during your holiday in the Lake District.

Cabin one
Enjoy a Lake District stay in one of our two pine log cabins. With a south facing position on Snittlegarth Farm the views up to the fells are spectacular.

Our log cabins in the Lake District are located just outside of Ireby, only 8 minutes from Bassenthwaite Lake, under 20 minutes from Keswick, and just 45 minutes from Grasmere. Between here, you’ll find plenty of ways to keep busy in the local area, and there’s something to suit every type of staycationer – including walking trails, tourist attractions, pubs and cafes. With our luxury log cabins, you’ll have the freedom of a self-catering holiday, so you can cook your favourite family feasts, in between trying some of the tastiest pub lunches in the Lakes. After a busy day out exploring the local area, our log cabins will feel like a bit of welcome respite. Each cabin has an ample living space, two bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, and you’ll have access to extra amenities such as free WiFi.
